Jim Acker is President – Maidenhead Consulting Group, in Lawrenceville, NJ , USA, working with senior management levels to develop and implement Business Strategies to develop new products, services and markets. Guiding and assisting operational management in planning and implementing the process of entry to new markets. Supporting US and International companies in new market entry and the development and implementation of new distribution channels.
Jim was with Munich Health North America from 2009 to 2011, responsible for financial planning, controlling, monitoring results and management reporting for, Munich Health North America Reinsurance, Munich Re Stop Loss, Windsor Health Group and Sterling Life. He has more than 30 years of experience in senior leadership positions in the Health Insurance industry including roles in general management, financial and underwriting management in the United States and Europe. He has also worked as a Consultant in the insurance industry and emerging technology sectors.
He was responsible for the development and management of the Europe and Middle East Region of CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits from 2001 to 2007, based in Brussels, Belgium, before returning to the United States and joining Munich Re.
Jim graduated from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA, with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Management and Master of Business Administration.
